Are we alone?

According to NASA, there are eight recognized planets in our Solar system; more than 500 such Solar systems found so far, and around 100 billion planets in our Milky Way, with new Solar systems being found around it almost every day. Another popular website puts the number of planets to be approximately 160 billion, with a large number of these exoplanets being Earth-like in their structure and atmosphere. (Source: www.space.com)

Given the astounding numbers, wouldn't to think that we humans are the only intelligent species, be utterly arrogant and presumptuous? There has got to be many more advance life forms out there somewhere, waiting. The question arises, why hasn't any of them tried to contact us yet? I would answer this, with another question. How do you know they haven't?

While, there have been umpteen instances of UFOs and supposedly alien spaceship sightings around the world, majority of them needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.

There are some pretty sick-minded people out there, who either get their kicks out of posting such hoaxes, or are simply looking for their 10 seconds of fame. What they don't realize is that their actions might result in instilling a complete distrust among the mind of the public, towards the whole concept of alien existence.

Every now and then though, among the pile of such hoaxes, there comes a picture or a video that is not only in itself a substantial proof, but there are also undiscountable, first-hand testimonies of hundreds in the vicinity. You just cannot afford to ignore them, can you?

One such video was posted by a French gentleman, a few days back on a popular YouTube channel. According to the reports that I could gather, investigations are still on to establish the authenticity of the same. Why don't you be the judge?

The event was widely covered in various newspapers and TV channels worldwide, and needless to say, the concerned authorities have gone on the record to call it a lie and a hoax. Of course! An example of the coverage is here: The Sun. Still in doubt? Why don't you try and search of Area-51 in U.S.A. or Kongka La in India? Yes, they exist.

Stanton Friedman, a Canadian nuclear physicist and a top ufologist, said in one of his interviews, 'There was not a shadow of doubt that the existence of intelligent aliens was being covered up by global governments, as part of a so-called truth embargo'. Mr. Friedman, 82, has been at the heart of investigation into the Roswell alleged UFO crash of 1947. He had also previously worked  on classified projects for American aerospace corporation McDonnell Douglas. With credentials like these, there has got to be at least some truth in his claims. Have a look at this video here: Express, U.K.

For decades, governments around the world have been keeping a tight lid over the issue of alien existence, and have categorically denied any such news. However, in recent times, there have been strong indications that the embargo over the truth is finally going to be taken off.

If The Disclosure Activists, a new consortium is to be believed, global governments are preparing the citizens for an imminent announcement that intelligent alien life forms do exist and are in fact already here on Earth. The same is also evident from some of the recent global developments. Earlier last month, the Spanish ministry of defense released a cache of previously classified UFO documents. CIA in January this year, had also released similar documents, as did the governments of U.K. Chile, and Mexico. Former POTUS, George W Bush, had also alluded to his knowledge of UFO phenomenon on one of his interviews on TV last month.

Group Founder of Wikileaks, Dr. Lisa Galarneau said, 'This awareness building campaign by global governments is deliberate in its attempt to prepare humanity for a formal disclosure.' She went on to add, 'This is an important step towards open contact with extraterrestrial intelligences, who have not shown hostile intentions and could help humanity with some of our most intractable problems, including energy, climate change, pollution, and resource scarcity.'

There are believers, and there are sceptics. The former would believe, the latter would not. That is how the world has been, and that is how it will remain. The existence of an alien intelligent life form is bound to remain a mystery, till the time they themselves chose to be known and seen. Hostile or not, time will tell.

Flowers & Thorns

Not only the flowers, but the thorns too, make a garden beautiful,
What to see and what not to is for us to decide.
Without the belief our life is a big lull,
With the choices that we make in life, we have to abide.

With the full moon sky, comes the darkest clouds,
With that beautiful flower, comes the piercing thorn.
The serene river turns into a devastating flood,
That refreshing rain throws a lightning is not forlorn.
The cool breeze can also bring a deadly hurricane,
Red could be passion for you and blood for other.
Love & Hate are but the two sides of a coin,
Stretch the horizon and stretch it further...

Dil Se....

It's your fault, Oh Lord!!!

It’s your fault, Oh Lord!!!

You gave us a place to live

You gave us food for our hunger

You gave us water to quench our thirst

You gave us fellow humans to keep us company

We are grateful oh dear Lord.

We are grateful for the place to live

We are grateful for the food

We are grateful for the water

We are grateful for the fellow beings

But you forgot to give us compassion, patience, love

You forgot to teach us the essence of being humans

You forgot to teach us the meaning of humanity

Its not our fault then oh Lord

Its not our fault that we rape the helpless

Its not our fault that we kill each other

Its not our fault that we exploit the mother earth

Its not our fault that we made Nuclear Bombs

Its not our fault that we rape, kill, exploit

Its all your fault oh Lord

Hunger, Madness, Devastation, Wars amongst every person until each and everyone and everything is broken, is all your fault oh Lord

And its us poor humans who have the bear the brunt of your faults, oh Lord

We request you, oh Lord

We request you to either teach us all that you didn’t

We request you to either teach us to love others

We request you to either teach us the essence of humanity

Or, oh Lord, take it all away

We refuse to bear the brunt of your mistakes, oh Lord

We refuse to live in this world that’s so full of hatred

We refuse to live in the world where man-made geographical boundaries are more precious than human lives

We refuse to live in the world where human exploits human for power, money, sex

We refuse, oh Lord

We refuse to live in the world that was so beautiful when you gave it to us and we turned it into Hell with our own greed

We don’t deserve this, oh Lord

We don’t deserve the earth

We don’t deserve the food

We don’t deserve the water

We don’t deserve to be called humans

We don’t deserve to live, oh Lord.

Then and Now....

Beyond the world appearing before our imaginations
Our minds within outliving all expectations.
The mystery far ahead of our wildest dreams
The presents unlimited possibility streams.
I open my arms to the possibility of forever
With the unmistakable glimpse of never.
They stand before me with the hope of a clue
The embrace of answers being far too few.
Amongst the hopes of a better beginning
The dreams of many forever thinning.
The wish of a sweeter yesterday upon us all
Continuous preparation of the unknowing fall.
The wonder in our hearts is the repeated beat
Of astonishing affection refusing defeat.
A phantom destiny of knowing the question
Everlasting wisdom of true expression.

Blessed

I am so blessed!
Freely your love comes
Holding nothing back
The times so sweet
Constantly desiring more
I am so blessed!
Pure, simple love
Little things most cherished
Overjoyed by those acts
You view as normal
I am so blessed!
Special moments, little secrets
Insignificant to others
Meaningful to us alone
Practically our own little world
I am so blessed!
The same things enjoyed
Laughter comes easily
Joking frequently
Loving perpetually
I am so blessed!
Stumbling occasionally
The hurt forgotten
Forgiven always
Unconditional love :-)

I AM SORRY....

Regret flows from the depths of my soul
With the strength of a flood
I have held these gates shut for too long
And though tormenting, they should not be stopped.
The thought of your anguish
Even as I write to you now
Stops my heart cold
As well it should
What I see in front of me
Is a painting of our love
Its most thoughtful brushstrokes
Mottled by hurried abstraction and inattention
A person who had not seen this masterpiece created
Might think it to be refuse and pass it by unknowingly
Letting be obscured the deep beauty of its many scenes
By layers of the tarnish of mistreatment
But as the painter
I see beyond the dark smears
To recall the hours that I attended to the details
And wonder how I could let it become so discolored
The painting that took me my life to create
Has lost its divinity in my careless treatment
And even if I were to refine it
I fear you would always see it as it is today
So today I paint a new masterpiece
One inspired by the muse of respect
A work that you can love through our old age
One that you will look to each day for inspiration
This one will take some time
As I want my brushstrokes to be carefully placed
I need to move steadily to ensure that this time,
My art represents my dream
This is my opus
Don't judge me on my past works
As I have never before had so much skill and inspiration
And never before have I wanted to please you as I do today
With you and my children as my muse
I will paint for you a lifetime
A portrait of devotion and friendship
A panorama of passion and admiration
All I ask is that you gaze upon it with an open heart
And you shall unquestionably love me again

The Meaning of Love..... My version of it.

The Meaning of Love.
What exactly is love?
Is there an absolute meaning to the word - love? Or is it purely subjective?
The concept of true love is what we search for all our lives. Yet love is one of the most misunderstood concepts of all. What people really want more than anything else is to be loved unconditionally; to be accepted for who we are, and still be loved. Sometimes we will do some crazy things, in the name of love. Love is actually the choice one makes to put someone's wishes, desires and needs above our own. Many people confuse the word love with the meaning of the word want or desire. For example, sometimes when a young man tells the woman of his dreams, I love you, when he means that he wants her because of his own selfish desires. He's the one that may feel all excited over her, but in reality he may want her because of her physical appearance, or because of her mentality or her ability to make him feel good or important. Notice his primary motive for pursuing her is based on himself and his desires; not on pleasing her, although he may choose to please her, but that's only based upon the fulfillment of his wants. The same goes for a young woman, when she says to the man of her dreams, I love you, she in fact means that she wants him because of his physical appearance, status, mentality or his ability to make her feel good or important. This usage of the word love for the meaning of the word want is ever so present in the way we use and abuse it. Since we are selfish creatures, and our understanding of love is to first be pleased, look at how this word is overused. · I love Papa John's pizza. · I just love Gone with the Wind. · I loved Titanic. · I love Jazz Music. · I love Beethoven. · I love The Island of Dr. Moreau. To better understand the concept of love, lets define the value of love. Love is the most valuable commodity in the world. We all need love just like a fish needs water. Without love, life would not be worth living. With love in our lives, we are empowered beyond belief. Without love in our lives we will shrivel up and die a slow, painful and lonely death. Love is the very essence and core of our being. It is the energy that sustains who and what we are. Everyone in life has a deep-rooted desire to love and be loved. Many times people only recognize love in its emotional form. We might hear people on television say things like, I don't love you anymore, as they express their emotional feelings. However, love is a lot more than what we feel. Love is a spiritual form of energy that can be given or received in physical, emotional, or mental forms. Love usually starts in our thoughts, then spreads to the physical world through our actions, and then it will produce the emotional feelings. For example, it is possible to be angry with our spouse and force ourselves to do something nice for them in our actions, like buying flowers. Pretty soon our emotions kick in and after we see how happy our partner is upon receiving the gift, our emotions will follow. Love is a spiritual gift from a supreme force that starts mentally and finds its way to physical expression, but the emotional feelings we call love have very little to do with what love really is all about. Furthermore, love can also come in healthy and unhealthy forms. Love is an energy that can be used in a positive, healthy manner or a negative, unhealthy manner. There is unconditional love, which is very accepting, supporting and forgiving. There is tough love, which is disciplined, authoritative and conforming. For example, if a father's son were using drugs, he could unconditionally love him and accept his destructive behavior, hoping that he doesn't overdose and die. Or he could use tough love and put him in a rehabilitation hospital in an attempt to save his life. So as a result, too much tough love can be unhealthy, just like too much unconditional love can be unhealthy. The acceptance of love also plays a role in better understanding the concept of love. Many times we give love to our partner the same way we would like to receive it. But loving a person this way might not be in their best interests. If our gift of love fails to promote the good in the other person, they might not like it and reject it. Other times we might expect to be loved by our partners in the same way we were loved as children by our parents. For example, if our parents made us feel loved by buying us things, we might associate loving actions especially in the form of gifts, jewelry, clothes and expensive toys. Our partner could be the most loving, supportive, compassionate, understanding and caring person in the world and it's possible we could overlook their loving intentions if they didn't come from a store. In conclusion, to love others takes effort, and in some cases this can be very hard work. Ideally, we should also be able to love people who we don't particularly like or find attractive. This is not as unreasonable as it may sound, if we understand that love is not just a feeling, but it is expressed when we do something for another person that benefits their spiritual and emotional growth, which in turn helps them realize their full human potential.
